Molly and Dorian asked me if I was interested in doing a San Francisco Lifestyle Engagement Session. They wanted to me to capture them where they love to be most, in their living room cuddled up with some wine/coffee. Of course, I was like “heck ya,” because this is what I live for! I love capturing moments like this and giving clients photos they can really cherish. If this is what they want to remember 10, 20, 50 years down the road then I’m happy to capture it for them! I really love San Francisco and I love lifestyle engagement sessions so I was super excited!
I arrived to their adorable apartment and instantly fell in love. Their living room looks out onto Coit Tower and of course I then understood why they loved it so much. I’m not much of a city gal…although I do love going to The City a couple times of year – but wide open spaces in nature is more my speed. We went outside their apartment door (literally) and took photos with Coit Tower in the background. Of course we had to dodge the occasional car but what’s a session with me if you’re not really dodging traffic and feeling like your life was on the line 😉
We spent some time driving around the city and went to Ina Coolbrith Park which is just down the road from their apartment and took some beautiful photos there. We also stopped, again, in middle of traffic for a couple photos of Alcatraz behind them – SO COOL! We couldn’t end the session though without going to the bridge. It was 85 degrees in the city that day which is really rare but also with these crazy summers we’ve been having I’m not that surprised. By the time we got to the bridge it had cooled off a lot, but we got some beautiful photos of them in front of the bridge. I loved this lifestyle San Francisco Engagement session – thank you to these two who showed me all around their home town – beautiful SanFran!
