I first met Mandy when I contacted her about her beautiful wedding venue in Tomales. I saw photos online and instantly fell in love with the rolling hills, open land and of course the historic barn. My first thought (of course being a wedding photographer) was that I would die if I was able to book this venue with one of my brides. Then I figured, why wait…I dream of venues like this and I wanted to see it for myself in person. So Mandy graciously allowed me to visit the property and even gave me a tour of it herself. I learned this property/venue has so much more to offer than just its beauty. Mandy was so kind and I learned about her family’s working barn that turned into a wedding venue when she decided she would be the first to get married there. The views of the hills are just breathtaking and they have a gorgeous canyon and eucalyptus grove too. Talk about romance when you visit The Haven, you can’t get more romantic than this venue!
After my initial visit at The Haven and getting to meet Mandy I was thrilled to find out that she was interested in booking a family session with me on their property. We got cooler evening with a little fog that made everything look like it was in a dream. They couldn’t forget the dogs and cows for the family photos and as you can tell we had a lot of fun with the animals! Mandy incorporated a gorgeous couch that her brothers trucked up to the eucalyptus grove and I definitely had heart eyes when I saw it!
I am thrilled to be able to showcase this venue and this family who welcomed me with open arms.
