Katie & John’s Romantic and Classic Wedding in the Vines // B.R. Cohn Winery, Glen Ellen

Katie and John had the most romantic wedding in the vines at B.R. Cohn Winery. They were so excited to be announced as husband and wife and enjoy the perfect evening with their family and friends. Katie is diabetic and depends on her yellow lab, Kiko, to alert her when her blood sugar is too low. Kiko was also the flower girl and did the most amazing job fulfilling her double duties! I mean, tell me Kiko is not the cutest! Ironically, Kiko used to be in training for Guide Dogs for the Blind which (if you know anything about me) my labs, Flurry and Tibby, also came from Guide Dogs! Of course, my pups are much more “useless” than Kiko and I’m not sure I could trust them with my life! Kudos to you Kiko, you’re doing an awesome job!!

As you know I LOVE shooting at B.R. Cohn Winery. It’s one of my favorite venues from the gorgeous backdrop of the ceremony to the open air reception space where you could dance the night away under the stars! Katie’s dad also played a huge role in their wedding day. Katie’s dad passed away a few years prior but Katie thought of every way to include him like adding a pendant of him to her wedding bouquet and adding touches of blue (her mom and dads wedding color) to to the wedding color pallet. You could absolutely feel his presence the entire day and it was beautiful to capture those moments through the day.
