Megan & Eric Part II // Sonoma Mountain Engagement Session

I’m so in love with this beautiful Sonoma Mountain Engagement. I’m blessed enough to have photographed Megan & Eric once but I’m honored they had me for two engagement sessions. The first session was at the Bodega Coast which was really beautiful but I can fully understand why they had a second engagement session and I love that they chose Sonoma Mountain. The beach was typical NorCal weather; windy, foggy, sand flying everywhere, unable to maintain your hair as its uncontrollably flying in the wind – it’s just not what you’d tag as a “romantic setting”. However, I do love those photos and think they are gorgeous!! If you want to see the first session you can see it here.

So when they asked to do a second session at Sonoma Mountain I totally understood. We had access to some private property where there was an olive grove and beautiful landscape all around. The day we went was about 85 degrees out, basically perfect weather for a session. Unfortunately, the sun disappeared right when we started shooting and didn’t come back out until the very end! Like I always say, I can’t control the weather! Luckily, we had a blast and it’s always so enjoyable to be with these two and take their photos. Megan chose the perfect outfits for them both – I just love her yellow dress towards the end of the session.

If you read the other blog post then you probably already know that I am Megan’s maid of honor. I’ve never been a maid of honor before so I have no idea what to expect. Anyone have any advice please let me know! Hoping and crossing fingers and toes that she doesn’t make me do a speech. I’m awful at public speaking. But other than that I am so excited! I love weddings (duh) but hardly every get to be in them let alone attend! Ah, Can’t wait for their wedding in 2020!
