Crane Creek Family Session // McCarthy Family

If you don’t already know…. Shannon McCarthy is my sister and this is her beautiful family! We decided on Crane Creek because it is so beautiful and she has never been before. Plus Crane Creek Regional Park is GREAT for family sessions and I highly recommend it! Lots of local photographers are familiar with this location and there’s beautiful trees, hills and overall just lots of open space which you know is my JAM!

I take family photos of my sister and her family every year. The kids are growing so fast and I love capturing them with my camera and making sure my sister has them to cherish forever.

My nieces, Claire & Lindsay are seriously best friends and my nephew, Sean just adores them as well! Lindsay has become so much fun to take photos of recently! She loves the attention and she is the silliest 4 year old I know! Claire has gotten into the “teenage stage” where she’d rather not take the photos but she’s just so sweet that she does it for me! Claire has always been easy going but that doesn’t stop the teenage years from coming! Sean is getting into his “trouble two’s” stage and definitely becoming very opinionated. Wasn’t super excited for photos but we got a couple cute ones out of him for sure! We had a great time together and as I tell every family, just have fun! Don’t worry about your kids in their weird stages or that they are crying, not smiling or even looking at the camera. Every year it changes to just keeping a positive attitude is key! I loved how much fun we all had and I can’t wait for next years session with them! If anyone else is looking for a Crane Creek session let me know!
