The Back Story
So a little back story on how Savannah and I met! As many of you know, my fiancé Riley and I got engaged last December while getting our Christmas tree. One of my really good friends gave me the idea to cut part of the trunk off and save it as an ornament. I was so excited about this idea and knew I wanted a local calligrapher to to put our year on it so we always had a piece of our engagement with us every Christmas. Super cool right?! So I knew of Savannah but didn’t really know her personally. So with good ol’ Instagram I reached out and asked if she did calligraphy on wood pieces. She was just so incredibly sweet and said she could do it!
Ok now about Savannah + Garrett:
What an incredibly sweet couple these two are. They came to the session with an abundance of positivity and ready to go. Neither of them even hesitated when I asked them to climb the big hill at Helen Putnam because they KNEW it was worth it (it always is!!!) and when I gave them direction into poses they were total pros! I’m always extra thankful for clients who trust me during the process of a session. It can be totally scary and overwhelming for someone who’s never been in front of the camera before but I promise it’s so much easier thank you think! They were even super easy going when it came to waiting a few minutes for the sun to sink down so we could get some beautiful sunset photos. I had such a fun time with these two and I’m so glad Savannah and I met!!
